Help me give my students the world. The students at my school will probably never get to see the beauty of this world that we live in. These VR devices will bring the world to them.
First of all, my students are go-getters! They don't give up. Regardless of their family's financial frustrations and hardships, they continue to show up and level up academically. On a daily basis, they inspire me to keep pushing and reaching.
My Project
These materials will definitely help students learn. They will also inspire them to work harder so that they can one day see the many places that they will get an opportunity to see virtually. My students are not afforded opportunities to travel abroad. I don’t want them to grow thinking that there’s nothing outside of where they live. I want them to know that the world is a beautiful place and has beautiful people both near and far.
Some of my students have NEVER visited 30 miles from the immediate address.
Their 56 parents/guardians don’t have the finances to take them on trips nor outings. It breaks my heart to know that this is their life. I try every day to inspire and encourage my students to live beyond your current situation while still being true to you. Please help me show them the WORLD!
