Show Me The Money (Part 2)

My students need money games, money centers, money flash cards, and plastic coins to enhance our study of counting and adding money.

My Students

Worrying about food, money, transportation, and clothing are adult worries, yet many of the students at my school face these "grown-up" problems each day. In spite of the challenges they face, they constantly rise to the occasion and frequently blow me away with their abilities to learn.

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Some have, and some do not. It is my job to level their playing field so that all have a chance to be successful. Through hands-on, exciting, and active assessment, all students in my third grade, inner-city classroom prove themselves time and time again.

My Project

I am requesting money math centers, games, flash cards and manipulatives for my students to get their hands on as they learn how to count and add money. Each year as I teach this topic I find it harder and harder for students unless I have lots and lots of practice. Often times the plastic money seems to grow legs and disappear. The items requested will provide my students with ample opportunities for fun, hands-on, engaging learning during this unit.

My kids are the best!

They deserve the best in every aspect of life, especially in their education. Help me to help them achieve their best by partnering with me to get them these hands-on learning tools so that we can take our learning on the road.
