My students need 10 high-quality dry-erase boards so that I can check that every student knows what they are supposed to know.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Hill's classroom raised $408

My Students
Our district has cut teachers in our school, which means that my math classes in junior high are between 32 and 39 students each. We feel crowded, but we are determined to learn.
Our town is medium-sized, but we are in a rural, isolated part of Oregon.
Our students are still hopeful, but they see the problems that the economy has forced upon their families. They need constant encouragement, continual support, and instant feedback to keep them on the track to success.
My Project
These simple, individual dry-erase boards will let my students show me if they understand each concept, so I can target and help those who do not understand. I will also be able to give extra enrichment activities to those who learn a concept quickly. These will also help to keep all students engaged in a lesson, so no one can "zone out" in our big classes.
Please help us!
We are running out of scratch paper to hold up to show our answers (our district has a goal of reducing paper use by 25% to save money, so everyone is using less).
Your gift will help 186 junior high kids to have a better, easier, more interactive experience in math.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
