My Students
My students are learning Korean as a second language and most of my students are non-heritage students. Since the remote learning stated, it has been really challenging to teach them writing of Korean words. They need to see me write each syllable, a stroke at a time so they can master the writing skills but with the remote learning, I have been typing through google meeting and it is limiting my students to learn writing skills.
My Project
Most of my students are non-heritage so writing in Korean is a big challenge especially the beginners. In the beginning, they drew the Korean letters but I have taught them in class how to write properly by showing them step by step. However, students are struggling ever since the remote learning began because they cannot see me writing on the board. The camera and notebook will show exactly how I write Korean words, a syllable at a time. Students can see a stroke at a time. They need to see where I add a space between each clause of a sentence. Please help my students to succeed!
