This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
Please help me give my students learning materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students might not able to leave their homes due to the quarantine in Oakland. My student need art supplies, and hands-on learning materials for next school year 2020-2021.
These students, with the art supplies they receive from this project, will utilize online lessons, Zoom meetings.
Each kit has everything they need -- in their packet. What better time than during a pandemic for a K- 2 child to be able to have access and practice their passions!
