Help me give my students interactive ways to show their understanding. Dry erase boards are engaging and allow for a quick way to know who to help the most.
Checking for understanding can is vitally important. No matter the lesson or activity, a teacher must know who is in need of help and who can move on to the next objective.
Dry-erase boards are a great way to ensure students understand the given task or objective.
They are quick and easy and the students love to use them. This provides engagement and on-task activity.
Students are trained and understand to keep their work private until I say, "Boards Up". This gives me the opportunity to quickly scan and know who may need a little more teaching and direction. Students can also use whiteboards for various other tasks. And sometimes they can even just enjoy a little drawing time!
