My students are creative and talented students who are passionate about the arts. As a teacher I aim to use that passion to help them understand and discover the world through science.
All of my students seek to understand the world on a deeper level to be able to translate that understanding into their art.
We will be conducting hands-on investigations inside and outside of the classroom. The students will be learning how to ask questions, observe changes, analyze their observations, find patterns, evaluate and reflect on the results.
My Project
As we continue on in Physics with the Unit on Forces at a Distance, we will be getting into electricity. As a part of the unit, students will do a lab/project on circuits.

All lessons are designed to engage curiosity, encourage discussion, and examine questions.
Students will use batteries, conductive paint, conductive thread, and LED lights to create artistic circuits to demonstrate their understanding of circuits and Ohm's Law. Drawing pencils will provide students with the opportunity to add artistic quality to their work. The pendulum is will be used by multiple teachers in the science department and is in preparation for an upcoming Physics unit on Waves.
