Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A pretend grocery store is an excellent tool for teaching financial literacy to special education students because it provides a hands-on, interactive learning experience.

By having a pretend grocery store in the classroom students will be able to practice real-life skills such as managing money, making budgeting decisions, and understanding the value of different items.

By engaging in role-play scenarios, students can develop their counting and money-handling skills, learn to make choices based on cost and needs, and experience the practical application of financial concepts in a controlled, supportive environment. This approach makes abstract financial principles more concrete and accessible, enhancing their understanding through active participation.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and help our class.
