This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classes this year are super competitive. I try to challenge my students by using equipment they would use in competitive settings. However, some of our current basketballs are not up to game standards with the leather peeling, no grip, or doesn't hold air. The basketballs I am trying to get for my students will help students with shootings, dribbling, and passing. Please help me get this equipment for my amazing students.
We try to utilize all of our equipment until it is no longer usable, but these highly recommended basketballs could help progress some of my students to the next level.
We would also love to get each player a bag to carry their equipment in.
Our kids work so hard practicing daily and competing placing 1st at county tournaments. Our kids come from poverty homes, free and reduced lunches and this sport is all they look forward to keeping them in school and motivated to learn.
