My Project

The use of a Treasure Box is an effective way to reward students who display positive behavior. Kids love a good incentive. Knowing they can earn something for good behavior and the end of the week or the end of the say helps motivate them to work hard. The tangible items inside the treasure box are like GOLD to students. When students know they can pick something they can hold in their hands when they work hard make them feel more motivated to try harder.

I mean come on; rewards are fun!

It's nice for students who always do the right thing to be rewarded for their efforts. We spend so much time and attention on those children who can't keep it together, that our easy-going friends sometimes get lost in the shuffle. Treasure boxes give each student an opportunity to pick something they want and feel confident about it.

My students are already showing me that they are very interested in grabbing a nice prize out the treasure box. For this reason, I want to make sure I'm able to have enough rewards for them to choose from. Gathering these rewards can be very expensive, but the results it brings makes it worthwhile. You won't believe how something as small as a fidget spinner can bring so much happiness to a child's face and even mines.

Now we all know some students doesn't always like to pick a toy. Every student is unique. To cater to their needs, I included goodies/snacks in the treasure box that they can choose from to have as a reward. Students love to feel special. Well let's look at it, they are all unique. The different personalities that touch my life everyday motivates me to keep giving to them everyday.
