My Project
I am requesting skirts for my Performing Arts classes. Dance and Drama will be presenting stories and pieces from across the globe. After having studied Greek history, students will be sharing self choreographed Greek inspired pieces, as well as performing the Odyssey to compliment the 6th grade World History curriculum.
These skirts are not just fun to twirl in, but will add color and life to our performances.
In addition to the Greek pieces, students are working on community pieces for the school. As we start to continue to strengthen our community after covid, we hope that the inspirational words in our songs will help our students, staff, families, and surrounding community know that we are there for each other.
Students will be using these costumes across multiple shows and dance routines. These performances are for our fellow classmates and school community as the songs and plays we've chosen to present share a message of camaraderie to be share by all.
