I am a 5th grade teacher at Riverside Elementary and over the past few years it has become more evident that students are coming to us wired for technology. It is my goal to provide a learning lab that will allow my students to share their amazing writing skills.
I teach a 5th grade classroom of 26 students, ranging in levels of learning.
They have all been identified as Gifted and Talented and require an extensive use of technology in order to build up their knowledge and access additional learning materials suited best for each of them.
My Project
The world of writing takes on a whole new vision when linked with the incredible features of Chromebook technology. I am asking for funding to create a 5-station Chromebook Lab to be used primarily for student writing and publishing, projects and interactive learning.
Technology makes a difference in itself!
My students will have access and the drive to make learning fun, effective and applicable to the real world. With access to 5 more chrome books, this will be possible.
