My Project
This year, our school began a dance team for 6th-8th grade students. Our dance team performs dances for school, district, and community events and programs. For many of the team members, this is their first experience getting to learn set dance rountines and perform them onstage.
By providing quality dance costumes for their upcoming shows, my students will be able to better portray the meaning of their dances and gain an enhanced performance experience.
Being a world language school, our dance team often performs dances that represent different countries around the world. Having authentic costumes to represent these dance forms helps honor and respect the cultures they come from.
