My Project
As a master mechanic/instructor, I have had the privilege of working with some great young people. Our students have a desire to learn and often expand on their knowledge of automotive. Although they don't have access to vehicles, my students strive to improve each time they work on cars in my class.
With access to shop equipment, such as LED headlamps, our students can focus on repairing vehicles to certify in auto mechanics.
By certifying in Auto Mechanics II, students can secure a position at an automobile dealership or mechanic's shop to earn money, while they are still in high school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
