Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am incredibly proud of my students. They come to class each day with determination and a genuine desire to learn. They are curious, creative, and eager to improve, even when faced with challenges. Their resilience and dedication inspire me to provide the best learning environment possible—one where they can thrive.
However, in a bustling classroom, it can be difficult for students to stay focused, especially during independent and small-group work.
With frequent movement, conversations, and the natural energy of young learners, distractions are inevitable. That’s why I’m requesting study partitions—to give my students personal learning spaces where they can block out distractions and concentrate fully on their work.
These simple yet effective tools will make a big difference. During tests, writing assignments, and math practice, the partitions will create quiet zones that promote deeper focus. With fewer interruptions, students will be able to think critically, work independently, and build confidence in their abilities. For students who struggle with attention, the partitions will provide a much-needed visual boundary, helping them stay on task.
My goal is to create a classroom environment that encourages independence, focus, and success. By providing my students with study partitions, they will have the tools they need to strengthen their skills and reach their academic goals.
What makes my students special is their determination. They take pride in their growth and celebrate their progress, no matter how small. They show kindness to one another, support their peers, and face challenges with a positive mindset.
