This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is right in the middle of a wonderful Agricultural community, so our students see agriculture every day. We work hard in our school garden to ensure that the crops we plant will be successful at growing into healthy, bountiful crops.

Our students come from hard working families, so they too are very hard-working.

They want our garden to be beautiful and successful so they work hard at planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing and harvesting. We love our school garden!

My Project

We will need shelves in order to stack our trays of transplants in our greenhouse. Having these shelves will help to make our transplants grow abundantly and help to keep our greenhouse organized!

My students are so excited about growing vegetables as transplants that we will then plant in our school garden!

Help us by contributing to our project and allow some very eager students to grow their own food!

Teaching my students the importance of keeping their working environment organized in order to make their tasks much easier is so very important. They are also learning about sustainability and what that means to them and the future generations.
