Help me give my students the calming effect needed with appealing sensory items. This includes building blocks, fidget toys, kinetic sand, and other items.

My Students

The group of students that I service are awesome children. They are risk takers and adventure seekers. I love that they are open and willing to try new ventures in life.

Last year they were introduced to gardening and even took a tour of a famous cemetery.

They await and yearn for rich learning experiences being that other than school some will not have the opportunity for such activities. They are the apples of my eye and I love being the one to expose them to their new experiences.

My Project

My project is for students in the building that have been rewarded with break away time to come and visit my classroom. These are children that have special plans in place to address their specific needs during the school day.

My classroom is a safe place for them and when they come, they are looking for items to help calm them down.

The students will use the sensory items to help them to regain focus as well as to help calm them down from the hustle and bustle of a busy day.
