This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students LOVE Art class, and I try to keep it as fun as possible. From Kindergarten to 8th grade, one thing that ALL my students love to use are Sharpies. Just this week Kindergarten is using them to draw funny faces, 6th graders are using the thin ones to outline detailed perspective drawings, and 8th grade is using the colored Sharpies for our unit on Haida Art Animals.

We use Sharpies for almost every project, and we need your help to make sure we have enough to last us the rest of the school year.
