it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The sharpener and Cricut machine will directly enhance my students' ability to engage in both the practical and creative aspects of their learning.
The sharpener ensures that students always have the necessary tools for clear, precise writing, which is fundamental for note-taking, completing assignments, and improving their overall focus during tasks.
This simple tool can help reduce frustration and distractions caused by dull pencils and increase productivity.
The Cricut Maker 3 will enable students to bring their creativity to life by providing a means to craft personalized, visually appealing projects for school. This machine will enhance their problem-solving, design thinking, and technical skills by allowing them to create posters, art projects, and models for various assignments. It brings an element of hands-on learning that enhances student engagement and helps them visualize abstract concepts in subjects like math, art, and science
My primary goal is to foster a more dynamic and engaging learning environment where students can connect with the material in creative ways. The sharpener ensures that they have the tools for focused, productive work, while the Cricut provides opportunities to explore artistic and technological skills, leading to the creation of more meaningful, tangible learning experiences. I want my students to develop skills in creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, all of which are critical for their future success.
Additionally, I hope to encourage self-expression, confidence, and pride in their work, helping them feel more connected to their projects and the learning process.
My students are incredibly diverse in their talents and interests, with many showing a strong aptitude for creativity and innovation. They are eager to explore new ways of learning and are excited about hands-on activities that allow them to express themselves in unique ways. Despite facing various challenges, they demonstrate resilience, curiosity, and a desire to excel.
