it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal for this project is to provide my students with a tool that supports their learning in the most fundamental way—by keeping their pencils ready for action. Right now, we are struggling with old, ineffective sharpeners that break pencils more than they sharpen them. A new, high-quality pencil sharpener will allow my students to stay focused and engaged instead of wasting valuable class time trying to get a usable point on their pencils. Whether they are solving math problems, writing creative stories, or taking notes on new concepts, having properly sharpened pencils is essential for their success.
My students thrive when they have the tools they need to succeed, and something as simple as a reliable pencil sharpener can make a huge difference in their daily learning experience.
