it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you recall your 4th grade year of school? Well, I would like to make it a very memorable year for my students. I want to supply them with all the little writing tools to make it a stress-free year as they prepare for the STAAR tests. Will you be the one to help sharpen them?
I teach an amazing group of fourth grade students.
Despite it still being the first few weeks of school, we have developed an awesome relationship. They live in a community stricken by a high level of poverty and attend a Title I school. This, however, does not hinder their eagerness to please their teacher. They are ready each morning to give it their all. I can not say enough great things about how good they are.
My Project
The selected pencils and erasers will be used daily to complete classwork. They go through so many pencils weekly; it is difficult to keep enough in stock let alone sharpened. So, the electric pencil sharpener will be used for that. The markers will be used to create anchor charts for specific skills being introduced. And finally, the magnetic tape and command hooks will be utilized to hang or display these charts on the wall for the children to refer to daily when they get stuck on learning skills.
By donating to this project, you will provide vital tools for my students as they complete daily assignments.
You will be a resource to help make learning stress-free and so much easier for an amazing group of 10 year old children. You will help sharpen their skills as they prepare for the state mandated requirements for fourth graders. Thank you in advance for your contribution.
