it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, hardworking, and determined my students are—especially when it comes to tackling challenging math problems. They come to class ready to learn, ask thoughtful questions, and support one another through group work and problem-solving activities. Many of my students are developing their math confidence, and it’s inspiring to see their faces light up when they finally "get it." They are eager to grow, and I want to make sure they have the tools they need to succeed every day.
This project will provide my students with a steady supply of pencils, an essential resource in any math classroom.
Whether they’re solving equations, drawing diagrams, or working through multi-step word problems, having pencils readily available means they can focus on learning without unnecessary interruptions. These basic materials will ensure that all students, regardless of their home situation, have what they need to fully participate and engage in math activities. With your support, we can keep our classroom stocked and set every student up for success.
