As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, I see that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My students are eager to learn and come to school every day with bright, shining faces.
I see students in 2 instructional reading classes, 2 co-taught science classes, and 1 instructional math class. It is my goal to help them to become successful!
My Project
My special education students come to school often with little to no supplies. Therefore, daily written assignments, class note-taking, and homework often become missing assignments due to my students not having any pencils to complete the assigned work.
The pencils, cap erasers, and electric pencil sharpeners will motivate my students to complete their work and assignments.
My students seem to take pride in their work and want to be successful. The pencils will assist me in helping my students to reach for their goals.
The pencils, erasers, and sharpeners will improve my students' school lives by preparing them for success in their classes throughout the day.
