Sharpening pencils during class can seem annoying and time consuming. But with a super speedy sharpener and some fabulous pencils, my students will not waste a learning minute on the mundane.
I am an intervention teacher at an IB school in Colorado.
My students often come to my class without the necessary supplies to complete their work. I would like to be able to provide them with the basics so that they can learn and feel successful. Since they are already getting pulled out of their general education class, they need to feel like they matter with something as small as a sharp pencil.
My Project
The pencil sharpener I am requesting should be able to last for many years to come. My students will be able to sharpen their pencils quickly so they can get back to the task at hand. Ticonderoga pencils are the best. They sharpen easily and their erasers never leave smudges on paper. The desk organizer will help keep their papers nice and neat so they will be able to pick up where they left off the next day.
