Help me give my students the tools they need to write! Having a high quality pencil sharpener and stapler will make it possible to have all the materials they need , when they need them!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I think of my young students as a wonderful piece of clay with endless possibilities! As a Dual Language Kindergarten teacher, I am able to begin molding and creating a solid foundation for them to be future leaders of the 21st Century.
My young students are amazing individuals that surprise me every day.
They already demonstrate determination and willingness to be successful. They are dreamers, planners, thinkers, and doers! For the past four years I have observed, analyzed, and celebrated their growth. I am literally watching them become scientist, engineers, mathematicians, doctors, teachers, artist, and so much more!
They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. They are at the core of my inspiration!
My Project
Having a high quality pencil sharpener and stapler will aid in providing needed tools for writing in all subject areas for my class. Kindergartners love to write and draw their thought and feelings! However, the task of writing has become frustrating. As students are in the creative process they often loose the lead in their pencils.
Having a high quality pencil sharpener will help us solve the problem.
We will be able to have tools available when needed, and our creative writing and drawing will continue to flow with ease.
Help us keep it nice and sharp in kindergarten, so that we can continue to write and draw!
