My Students
All of my students live in a large city in Michigan and receive free lunch. Many of my students come to me speaking little or no English. Here, at our wonderful school, there is something for everyone. Even the parents like to engage in our learning opportunities.
My students don't like sitting around; they like to be engaged and to explore new things.
As their teacher, I would like to make available a wide variety of learning materials so they can engage and learn in a variety of ways. I also want to make sure they are well fed so they can concentrate on learning and not hunger pains.
My Project
Many of my students come to school hungry. Having a variety of grab and go snacks will allow my students to select a snack at the sharing snack table. By providing juice, granola bars, cheese crackers, and fruit snacks, along with other various healthy snack choices, my students will get the fuel they need. Fueling their brains will allow them to concentrate and focus on the lessons and learning activities being presented.
Having a variety of healthy snacks will allow my students to fuel up for learning.
Your donation will stock my classroom with delicious and healthy choices for my students. The individual Minute Maid apple juice and orange juice will give my students the quick energy for learning. These individually wrapped snacks allow for my students to take something home in case they need some fuel for energy at home.
