Sharing Schnitzel: Uniting German Students Through Cuisine and Culture

Help me give my students a cultural experience, practicing speaking German while dining at school catered from an authentic German restaurant.

My Project

For the last four years German students have practiced words, phrases, sentences, and formulating questions. Now it's time to eat real German cuisine catered from a German-run establishment while speaking only German. The food brought in for this experience will take these students to the next level, requiring them to think and speak quickly in German.

Highly motivated students will eat authentic German food while practicing German conversation skills in an immersive environment.

While a trip to Germany is not feasible for all of my students, this experience will enable everyone to experience the German culture and cuisine that they've only heard about and discussed in class.
