My Project

The past school year, 20% of our student population consisted of children with sensory and autistic needs. They are main streamed into our classroom and many lack self control and social skills.

Our goal with this project is to realize our feelings, express them in a positive way and develop self confidence.

Then we will expand our thinking as we explore caring and sharing with others. These tools and manipulatives will help us learn about our feelings and self worth. They also will be fun to involve our friends as we work and play together.
