Help me give my students an iPad Pro that will increase their visual learning experience while we are distance learning and a hands on experience when we go back to school.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In these these unprecedented times, I am trying my best to ensure my transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students are provided with access to the curriculum and are engaged while distance learning.
My students and I are focused on learning even if it's at a distance!
We are actively engaging in different online platforms and learning new things together. My students and I meet on Zoom 2x/day, 5/days a week to go over new material, and to check in with each other. I am amazed by their level of engagement and participation. I would love to update my technology to be able to access lessons, use updated apps and platforms increasing my ability to make learning more accessible during this difficult time.
My Project
This project will provide an updated iPad Pro to assist my students with their remote learning experiences. It will allow me to visually model teaching strategies across content areas. I will be able to increase understanding and student engagement during our Zoom lessons. My students are motivated to learn when I incorporate technology.
Once we enthusiastically return to school, my students will benefit immensely by having an iPad in our classroom that can connect to my document reader providing access to educational apps, videos, and the flexibility to engage students to model work from anywhere in the classroom.
