This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a special education teacher in Trenton,NJ; a title one district.

We do a lot of art projects in class, so crayons, markers and colored pencils get used up quickly.

At the start of the school year we learn and review expectations and how to share/care for supplies. The “on strike” book set is a great way for us to teach students how to care for their supplies so they will last the whole school year and learn respect for all classroom supplies!
