Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year I have decided to return to the classroom. I will be working with grades 3-5 life skills students. I had the pleasure of observing them this past year. They thrive on hands activities. Having these materials I would be able to create their personal binders with their schedules. I have requested stickers because they love receiving stickers. Another item that is much needed is visual cards with sight words on them. This item would be a great addition to their learning. The whiteboards come in handy to teach math problems and all the math units for their IEP goals. We would also use them in our phonics and writing assignments. These boards come with visuals that will set the students up for success. The Kleenex tissues will come in handy when someone in the classroom has a runny nose. I am also requesting hooks to hang up their backpacks as well as treasure box items for good behavior.
