My Project
My first graders are all reading at different levels and all have very different needs. This binder is a way that each kid can be working on a skill that meets their own need.
Help me get 3D shapes that my students can manipulate and examine.
There is a first grade standard that requires students to compose and decompose solids to create other shapes. For example, students could use two cubes to create a rectangular prism. They could also build a castle and list the three dimensional shapes that were used to build it. Without these shapes to manipulate, my students cannot accurately learn this standard.
