Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This school year I have an amazing group of 45 students. This is our school's fourth year of departmentalizing, so I have the privilege of teaching two classes of 23-24 eager-to-learn students. Since they are older elementary students, this is a big year for them because they will leave my school and start new beginnings in the middle school of their choice. So, it is my job to prepare them the best I can by providing them with as many tools, resources, and strategies as possible to make this transition easy for them. I believe this order of all different types of paper will help with that for various projects. Not only is my school a Title 1 school, but many of the students' parents are immigrants and have limited resources and funds.
