My Project
This project is designed to meet the geometry standards for primary students. This project will expose and allow the children to manipulate shapes to become familiar with them. Many students get to the older grades and they have never understood shapes and attributes. This project is geared to close that gap.
Allowing students the time to explore, manipulate and even play with shapes is vital to their understanding of how geometry works.
Shapes are everywhere in our lives and having the children find and identify them helps them when they get to the older grades. Math should be fun! This project is designed to bring fun into the math world!
