My Project
Our school has a Grand Challenge for each grade level, and our 7th graders focus on improving Medical Informatics utilized in research that could improve the quality of healthcare a patient receives. In the visual arts classroom, Scientific Illustration (SI) is one of the ways we can achieve this!
The illustration resources and x-rays provided by this Donors Choose project will allow students to see just how important imaging and drawn renderings can be in the medical field.
We will explore what SI used to look like versus what it looks like today.
