Shade for Outdoor Environment

Help me give my students at our school an expanded outdoor space with ample shade from the umbrellas and stands for outdoor learning opportunities to support social distancing and time in our beautiful outdoor environments.

My Students

Our Montessori School Community supports children from preschool through fifth grade to be their best self as an individual. We are a community of peace seekers, supporting children to seek their own unique passions, interests, and learning paths.

Every child is loved, honored, and guided as individuals to make discoveries with our carefully crafted materials while cultivating concentration, motivation, curiosity, self-discipline, and a love of learning.

My Project

We are fortunate to have such ample and beautiful Outdoor Environment spaces as an extension to our classroom environments. The children absolutely love to be outside and we love that we can support them in their explorations in nature. The addition on umbrellas and stands will give the children additional shade in the Arizona sun when they work outside on their lessons, art projects, research projects, or even to just sit in silence with nature. Children will also use the umbrellas for additional shade to picnic and eat outside too! Having outdoor umbrellas and stands will provide our children with endless opportunities to experience and learn in our Outdoor Environments.
