My students are excited to learn the art of sewing, but our classroom needs some essential supplies to bring their skills to life. With your support, I can purchase a variety of sewing patterns to inspire them, Fiskars shears for precise fabric cutting, and a selection of essential notions that we are short on. These resources will empower my students to develop fine motor skills, and gain valuable life skills through hands-on sewing projects.
Through sewing, my students will develop a wide range of skills including patience, perseverance, and problem-solving as they tackle sewing challenges.
Fine motor skills will improve as they handle and manipulate the fabrics. Additionally, sewing fosters creativity, imagination, and an appreciation for design.
