My Project

Our school is starting a new community builder of clubs. This gives me a chance to meet new students and build relationships.

My club is all about learning how to sew, a life long skill.

The plastic storage containers will be used to store scissors, thread and other materials. The students will use the embroidery floss and felt fabric to create various projects. We will be starting with easy stitches and then moving onto mini projects such as book marks, hair scrunchies, and pillows. The materials allow me to store the sewing kits each student will have, make their pillows, and learn to stitch.

I am so excited to get students excited about sewing. I think this will be a bonding activity for us all and an experience that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.
