My Project
Our small groups for reading and math are not really small at all! There are up to 9 students per u shaped table and a standard first-grade chair will only accommodate 6 comfortably around the table. Kids have to stand to fit in.
First-grade students should not have to stand to learn!
We are requesting backless stools that are sturdy. These stools are smaller and will replace the standard first-grade chairs around the u shaped table. We are also requesting soft pillow chairs for the floor for break-out floor reading.
