I am a newly hired SDC teacher in the fall and am working on setting up my new classroom! I have students with many disabilities ranging from ADHD to autism, to learning disabilities.
Flexible seating such as wiggle cushions and chair bands will help my students grow in their academics by allowing them to use these tools to help them focus.
With these special tools: pencil grips, scissors, fidgets, and weighted blankets, my students will be able to prosper in school and enhance their learning. I will have many students who need help focusing and will be needing the wiggle cushions and weighted blanket to focus during lessons.
