This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

My Project

This project is intended to help students organize their work in math class. Last year we had to do everything online, and I can only imagine how tedious that must have been for them. This year I’m hoping to switch things up and move to paper this year. Using binders will help students keep track of all their important papers while keeping off screens.

They will gain organization skills through the use of dividers as they organize papers within their binder.

The folders are intended to be folders for them to take anything they might need home. While I don’t anticipate assigning homework this year, they still might need to do some catch up work at home if they’re missing work.
