I have the sweetest group of first graders. They come to school ready to learn daily. I want to provide my students with a great learning environment that ensures they are set up to be strong readers for the rest of their lives.
My Project
These decodable readers will help students fill in the gaps that missing school as caused as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am looking forward to my students becoming strong independent readers. Getting families involved is essential to making students successful both at school and at home. With these books, students will be able to practice phonics skills through stories at school and at home. I plan to use these books as an at home resource to help families read at home with their kids. Choosing a book that is on their child's level is essential to ensuring their child is set up for success.
