My Students

Do you remember the first time you learned science? Did you love it or hate it? Either way, science is dreadful to learn if you don't have anything to learn it with.

My students have a love for learning that is so genuine.

They are excited about the challenges that await them in their education. My school is an under performing school in an extremely high poverty area. All of my students receive free lunch. Despite the challenges my students face, they greet me every day ready to learn. My students deserve the best quality education possible despite the lack of resources our school is able to provide.

My Project

I am requesting a science kit which will allow my students to participate in experiments. They will be able to see for themselves first hand what we are learning about. I am also requesting science instant learning centers. With these instant learning centers they will be able to practice in a group setting various scientific topics.

My students deserve the best and I want to give them all I can.

Currently, science is not being taught as well as it could and should be. I don't want my students running away from science like so many students do. I want my students to have a strong foundation of science and experiments so they can overcome the challenges that await them in the future.
