My students are a small group of children who crave education in a number of ways. They work twice as hard as the average child in order to achieve similar goals but it does not stop them from doing so. They come to school every day in order to gain all that they can from our program and we look forward to providing it for them.
We are from a small community with a big heart.
Although we try to give our children what they need, we are not able to provide it all. Early Childhood Education sets in motion a variety of journeys for each child and for these children, we aim to make each journey successful because that's what we do!
My Project
The bookshelf and leaf canopy will add to our book area setting and create an appealing look that my children would enjoy. The children in my class enjoy listening to stories and enjoy having access to the various book available in the book area.
We currently have a naturalistic book area, and to add a leaf canopy for imagination and effect with a bookshelf that allows for easier access to books, would be ideal!
I encourage my children in as many ways as possible to dive into literacy in any way possible. Literacy is the key to our world, whether it is lose oneself in another world, gather information, or to share information. The youngest generation of today should be motivated in every sense to embrace literacy. Creating a space to support that would benefit my children infinitely!
