My students are super second-grade students in a high-needs school district. They are excited about school and learning! Unfortunately, school budgets do not always make it possible for me to provide the materials and experiences to let my students soar during hybrid learning.

My Project
Students have been remote learning from home for almost a year now. They have gotten used to sitting on the sofa, their beds, wherever it is comfortable to sit and learn. I want to be sure they have choices in the classroom as well.
The students are returning to in-person learning and I want to expand their seating alternatives while making sure to keep it safe.
This tall bistro table with bar stools will offer a seating option that will mirror some of the options they may have had at home. The height of this table means that they can also use it as a standing desk. The plexiglass divider will give the extra protection for students who are seated at either end of the bar.
