This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The learning process for Kindergarten is extremely precise and determined. The bridge from concrete to the abstract acquisition of knowledge consists of managing several didactic resources like technology, teaching and manipulative materials, helping students to stand out in their grade level.
Some of my pupils are learning how to count, write and read, while others are on an advanced learning process.
In my classroom, we'll be gradually developing new experiences of how to get new knowledge playing and learning at the same time where they can help each other and they will understand in the easy way how to reach the objectives for kindergarten.
My Project
My kindergarten students will learn a new routine in the classroom. But the principal area to work will be on the rug. With our "criss-cross applesauce" pose, my students will be able to focus for instruction, practicing and rehearse procedures, watching videos, asking questions, learning anything new for them. Enjoying their playing time, elbow partner, etc.
The best way to enjoy their reading moments is when they find all the comfort and tools needed.
The rug and books will help increase their interest in reading, using their imagination and understand why "Reading Time" is important.
