My Project
Every day in our high school kitchen, something powerful is happening. It’s not just a place to learn how to cook, it’s an arena where students showcase their culinary creations, express their creativity, and build confidence with every dish they serve. This space is about more than food, it’s about transformation.
Students walk in with curiosity and walk out with confidence.
They’re not just learning to follow recipes; they’re discovering how to lead, how to innovate, and how to dream. They’re gaining more than culinary skills, they’re building the foundations of entrepreneurship.
As their teacher, I’ve seen how this kitchen becomes a place of hope. For many students, this class is more than an elective, it’s a lifeline. It’s where they find their voice, their passion, and often, their first glimpse of a future they never imagined possible.
But dreams need tools. And right now, our kitchen is missing many of the essentials—basic supplies that make hands-on learning possible. Without them, I’m limited in what I can teach and what my students can achieve.
We’re building more than meals, we’re building entrepreneurs. These young chefs are learning to plan, budget, market, and serve. They’re gaining real-world business skills that will carry them far beyond the classroom. But to keep this momentum going, we need support.
