My Project

I am excited to bring ping pong into my PE classes and our school recess. Our students are active, energetic, and love opportunities to move, compete, and play with their friends. Introducing two ping pong tables will provide a new way for students to develop hand-eye coordination, focus, and teamwork while having fun!

These ping pong tables will become a place where students gather during PE and recess to play games, practice skills, and enjoy friendly competition.

Students will be able to rotate, play singles or doubles, and interact in positive ways that build confidence and social skills. Every game will give students a chance to develop physically and mentally, all while enjoying an activity that encourages active participation for the whole school.

The tables will also allow students to make choices about how they are active. Some may want to challenge a friend in a quick match, while others may practice their skills individually. I have observed our students’ love for games and activity-based learning, and I know they will embrace ping pong with the same excitement. Giving students these choices is the best way to encourage continued participation, teamwork, and healthy habits.

By bringing these ping pong tables to our school, students will have the opportunity to engage in fun, movement, and social play every day. This project will provide a resource that benefits our entire school, allowing students to stay active, develop skills, and enjoy recess and PE in a new and exciting way.

Mr. Jardine will only receive his materials if this project is fully funded by May 14.
