This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I was able to visit another continuation school earlier this year and saw that they have a pickleball court. We definitely have space on our campus to create a pickleball court for students. Furthermore, it is a simple game that any student can easily pick up. I overheard a group conversation where students were excited about pickleball and wondered why we don't have it on our campus. We are requesting a Pickleball Cart and Pickleball Court Marking Kit.
Pickleball is a fun way to promote a positive and healthy school culture for our students!
Pickleball is a fun, easy-to-learn sport that encourages physical activity, teamwork, and social interaction. It’s a great way for students to stay active, reduce stress, and improve their concentration, all while having fun with friends. Furthermore, it will help build a positive school culture on our campus making everyone feel connected and valued within our school.
