This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials are essential for my students, especially the young athletes who find purpose, motivation, and joy through volleyball and physical activity. The volleyballs, setter trainer net, and practice gear will help my students develop their coordination, strength, and strategy while building a deeper connection with their teammates. Many students rely on school sports as an outlet for stress, a way to stay active, and even as a path toward future opportunities. Equipping them with the right tools ensures that they have equal access to meaningful athletic experiences.

Beyond sports equipment, this project also includes clothing and footwear to support students who may not have comfortable or appropriate athletic wear.

Items like joggers, socks, shorts, and even Crocs help students feel confident and prepared, whether they’re at practice, competing, or participating in fitness activities during school. These contributions do more than support physical education—they boost self-esteem, promote wellness, and show students that they are worth investing in. Your generosity will allow them to show up, play hard, and believe in themselves both on and off the court.
